Information for speakers

Plenary Talks

For the plenary talks, maximum speaking time is 35 minutes. A 5-minute discussion period is scheduled after each invited talk for questions and discussion.

Oral Presentation

Oral Presentations will be limited to 15 minutes, allowing additional 5 minutes for discussion. Please submit your Power Point presentation at the registration desk one day before presentation.
 
Speakers are kindly requested to stay within the allocated time. Session chairs are kindly requested to ensure, that the sessions will progress according the timetable.
 
Please use the Microsoft PowerPoint, 2016* (*pptx), or Adobe Acrobat Reader (.pdf) to ensure they will open successfully on an on-site PC. Use of individual PC laptops is not permitted. Only video codecs and fonts as detailed below will be supported. 
 
Movies/videos: Please take steps to compress your videos. Uncompressed videos will take longer to upload, and their quality will be inferior to a modern MPEG-4 codec. We can only accept movies created as MPGs, WMVs, or with the following AVI codecs: H.264, MPEG-4 (Divx, Xvid, or WMVs), Indeo, Cinepack, Techsmith.
 
Flash content (SWF) is fully supported.
 
Apple Quicktime formats such as MOV, QT, MP4, or DV files are NOT supported in Windows PowerPoint. Options to convert these movies to a Windows-compatible AVI are discussed below in “Consideration for Mac Users”.

Poster Session

Participants are encouraged to display the posters on Monday morning and to keep them on display for the whole duration of the meeting. Special poster session will be held on Monday afternoon. The poster boards will be of standard size (A0, portrait) orientation. 

For those who will present the posters on-line: please prepare the short presentation (max. 5 minutes) before special poster session on Monday (June 13 2022) afternoon (you can present the poster by yourself or send a short video presentation in advance).

At the congress:

Speaker can review their presentation a day before the scheduled presentation. Speakers’ Preview is staffed with a technician and has the same opening hours as the registration desk. For those who will attend on-line a special session will be organized on Sunday June 12 2022 to check their presentation. The timeframe for on-line checking will be send after registration and to those who will attend on-line.

At the session:

Please arrive at your session meeting room at least 10 minutes before the start of your session. Take time to familiarize yourself with the setup at the lectern, meet your chairperson, and address any issues with the technician.
